Psychology professor Dr. Lisa Feldman Barrett studies affective neuroscience, a field of psychology focused on the expression and recognition of emotions. She is the author of several books on the subject, notably “Seven and a Half Lessons About the Brain” (2020) and “How Emotions are Made: The Secret Life of the Brain” (2017).
