Being a parent is nothing if not time-consuming. But while it’s true that you do have to give up some of the things you like in order to take care of your child, there is one thing that #writer and podcaster Zibby Owens (@zibbyowens) can help you out with. And that would be reading. In 2018, Zibby, a proud mom of four kids, launched the “Moms Don’t Have Time to Read Books” podcast and started to invite book authors for interviews. The topic turned out to be relevant not only to parents but to all kinds of listeners. Over the past four years, the show has been visited by more than 900 guests, including celebrities like Natalie Portman and Hillary Clinton. Oprah.com listed MDHTTRB as one of the “top literary podcasts” and Zibby was twice named “NYC’s most important book-fluencer.” Despite being a full-time mom, Owens releases a new episode of the show every day (!), runs her own media company, and even manages to write books herself. This year, for example, she is planning to publish two: “Bookends: A Memoir of Love, Loss, and Literature,” which is a memoir, and “Princess Charming,” a children's book. Fear you might never find the time to read them? Well… try to at least listen to Zibby Owens and her guests discuss books and reading on Padverb
