Getting to Places Where Adversity Can't Reach with Michelle Kuei
Having a happy, meaningful life is what all of us are after, but still, it is something not everyone seems to attain. We might have a successful professional or academic life, yet happiness could be elusive to us. It could be because we are doing what is expected from us - whether it would be fulfilling our parents, siblings, or partner's expectations - and ignoring our needs and wants. It is like wearing the shoes they expect us to wear. The first step towards our happiness is asking every morning when getting out of bed, whose shoes I'll wear today? Visiting us today is the inspiring Michelle Kuei, Confidence Mindset Coach, Author, Motivational Speaker, Meditation & Mindfulness Teacher, and Podcast Host. She is the Founder of Elevate Life Coaching, a Certified Professional Coach, and Certified Energy Leadership Master Practitioner. Michelle was involved in a car accident at age 11, that ended up with her walking with crutches since then. She moved from Taiwan to the US with her parents when she was 15 and had a brilliant academic path through American education, getting her Doctor in Pharmacy diploma from St. John's University. In this episode, we talked about Michelle's experiences that led her to become a motivational and life coach. She also shared her adventure at Machu Pichu in Peru, which made her realize she can inspire people to become their best. She described her coaching style and what makes her unique, and much more.
