092 • Food Security + Olio
DID YOU KNOW of all the edible food wasted in the world, ONE QUARTER of that food waste is all it would take to feed the billions of people suffering from food insecurity and poverty in the world. AND you can make a difference. Today I speak with Tessa Clarke, co-founder of Olio, the world’s first neighbour to neighbour food sharing app. We talk preventing food waste and other household items from going to landfill, we talk food insecurity and reducing the stigma associated with food poverty, and the work that we can do on an individual scale to end world hunger. It’s a great conversation and lots of ways to take action so let’s dive in. Olio's Website: https://olioex.com/ @olio_ex ___________ New Episodes Every Sunday at 8 AM.
