KMO has been the voice behind the C-Realm podcast for well over a decade. He discovered podcasting while driving for a dead-end sales job and within days, he was hooked (and his sales career, doomed). Since those prehistoric days, he has sat down for a conversation over 500 times – with authors, bloggers, activists, technology gurus, and fellow podcasters – and these conversations made KMO reconsider many of his earlier positions. He now describes himself as a "recovering libertarian and Singularitarian." Sweden-born US citizen polyglot Artificial Intelligence (AI) researcher and Entrepreneur researching Large Language Models (LLMs) since 2001. ------- Inventor of Organic Learning based SSMs (Small Syntax Models) which are > 1 million times faster at learning languages than Transformer based LLMs with minor loss in precision. They do not even need a GPU, and can learn a useful amount of any language on the planet in five minutes on a laptop. These systems are aimed at high speed high volume industrial classification use cases, where GPT would be overkill and prohibitively expensive. Now 24 years and counting they continue their weekly stream-of-consciousness dialogues.
