Your sobriety isn't a committee decision. It's OK if your family and friends don't understand. Yes, it's scary. If your family has always bonded over alcohol, it can feel lonely to be sober during the holiday season. It’s a challenging shift to put yourself first and not people-please to make others comfortable during the holidays. But believe me, you can do it.  Today, I'll discuss how you can still be involved in holiday festivities, how to invite your family members to support you, and ideas for starting new traditions that don’t include alcohol.  And remember...you're not alone. Need even more holiday sober support? I created a (free!) 10 Day Holiday Series to support you every morning. Click here to sign up! I started The Sober Mom Life Cafe so women just like you can find connection in sobriety. We have 4 Zoom Peer Support meetings every week, a monthly book club, and a private Facebook group so you can connect all day long. Join us here, now. ♥️ Get Your Copy of my book The Sober Shift  Follow on Instagram @thesobermomlife and @suzannewarye Do you have a request for a topic you’d like me to cover on The Weekend Reset?
