The New P&L TO THE POINT on Discovering your Intrinsic Motivation
On this week’s episode of The New P&L TO THE POINT we breakdown and discuss one of the key points from our discussion with the incredible Dr Ruth Gotian. Ruth is the Chief Learning Officer and former Assistant Dean of Mentoring and Executive Director of the Mentoring Academy at Weill Cornell Medicine at Cornell university. In the research for her brilliant new book, The Success Factor, Ruth studied and interviewed extreme high achievers, including Nobel Prize winners, astronauts, Olympic champions to figure out what has made them so successful, the mindset and skill set of peak performers and how the rest of us can learn how to also achieve at this level. In this episode we discuss why we need to seek out and understand our intrinsic motivations and passions and then use them to guide our personal and professional lives and businesses towards success.
