Cathy Nesbitt discusses the benefits of laughter and how it can help reduce stress and create a more cohesive work environment. Nesbitt was appointed a laughter ambassador in 2017 and has since been doing team-building exercises with corporations. These exercises involve clapping, chanting, playing, and laughing to increase creativity, reduce stress, and break down barriers. Laughter yoga was created in 1995 and involves 40 foundational exercises to help people be childlike and have fun. Nesbitt is the founder of Cathy’s Crawly Composters (est 2002), Cathy’s Sprouters, and Cathy’s Laughter Club. She is a multi-award-winning environmental innovator who uses workshops and inspirational speaking to motivate people to live a more sustainable life. Nesbitt is a certified Laughter Yoga Teacher.
