NFX #98: High While Clean w/ Eric McCoy
Eric McCoy has spent his life around the world of substance abuse. He abused almost every substance imaginable with his preferred drug of choice being methamphetamine. In 2001, he reached his tenth arrest with four being within a six month period and facing 15 years in prison. He was given a miracle sentence and decided to change his life. He became a substance abuse counselor in 2003 and throughout the years worked as a counselor, program director, clinical director, and executive director. He currently teaches at a school and has written a book titled "Pain, Failure and misery are the Stepping Stones to Success." He has a podcast titled "High While Clean," that implies highness, not as a property of drugs but a property of people. What he is seeking today is nothing different then what he was seeking while using drugs but he has found a way to achieve it without drugs. There are not side effects. He has found it through talking, relationships, laughing, and so much more. https://www.highwhileclean.org
