Art, Shame and Perspective with Mitch Joel, Investor and Decoder of the Future
Minter Dialogue Episode #398 Mitch Joel, who was my first ever guest, kindly accepted to return for the 10-year anniversary episode of my podcast. Mitch is an investor, best selling author, brilliant speaker and decoder of the future. His two books, Six Pixels of Separation & CTRL ALT Delete have both been deeply influential in my life. He's an active blogger and is one of the original pioneers in podcasting. In this conversation, we discuss the importance of art, fiction, music and comics. We look at the noxious issue of shame, take perspective on the last decade in the midst of the pandemic, and zoom in on how consumer habits and behaviours have changed. We also explore how communication has changed and look at what deregulation of the big tech cos could look like.
