SEASON: 4 EPISODE: 27 Episode Overview: Ready to create and live your inspired life? If you have been curious about what more in life you can be, or do, or have, or create, or share, or give, or expand, then this episode is for you. My next guest says that the only thing standing between you and your inspired life is a DECISION. Without knowing all the answers, your dream, your vision, deserves you. To help us understand how we can create an inspired life and become a better version of ourselves, is speaker, writer, and transformational teacher, Inge Maskun. Guest Bio: Inge was born and raised in Indonesia by two strong women after her mom died. She was six years old. These women were her aunt and grandmother. Growing up, she was encouraged to pursue higher education, but she was never asked what she would love to be and do. It was a directive instead of an invitation. It was a statement, by them, instead of a question. And that was how she built a few businesses, and a life -- from her 19-year career in advertising and marketing in Indonesia, as a managing partner alongside her husband building an import business (shortly after moving to Minnesota), and as a network-marketer. She rarely asked herself, WHAT WOULD I LOVE to be, do, create, have, and give? Better yet, if I knew nothing was impossible? Questions generate ideas. Inge has been drawn to self-expansion since 1984. She read books, was involved in book clubs for personal growth, joined many courses, and networked with like-minded people. Her continued curiosity about the question ‘what would I love’ gained traction after she closed the import business. She became certified as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach in 2015 and started working with clients through Community Action Duluth and Safe Haven (a center in her town that provides services to women, whose lives have been affected by physical, emotional, sexual, and economic abuse). During this working partnership; guiding and workshopping participants, she witnessed the impact of fear and worry on people’s well-being. Inge experimented with a different strategy by introducing the question: WHAT WOULD I LOVE? The feedback she received brought Inge to the next path of understanding – someone’s wellbeing reflects what one loves and worries about. That’s when Inge decided to and pivoted into Life Coaching, providing transformative guidance for her clients to serve a vision of the life they are inspired to and love to live. Inge’s teacher says, “The quality of our life is framed by the quality of questions we are willing to ask.” Most of us learn to ask very weak questions of the Universe →What do I think I can do? What does my bank account say I can do? What does my current job say I can do? Since then, Inge has deepened her understanding and the implementation of living from this generative state and vibration: WHAT WOULD I LOVE? She’s certified as a Passion Test Facilitator, a DreamBuilder Coach, and a Life Mastery Consultant. Inge lives in Duluth, Minnesota, with her husband and a sassy cat named Coco.
