Finding Joy on Your ADHD Journey
Living with an ADHD brain can feel HARD and frustrating sometimes. We often become our own biggest inner bully with negative thoughts flying through our head throughout each day! This is why it is SUPER important to be very intentional about finding joy each day on your ADHD journey! In this episode, you will meet Jessie Hewitson, who is a mama of 2 wonderful boys with neurodivergent brains, and an author the book titled, "ADHD: The Ultimate Guide to Raising a Happy Child with ADHD." She shares with us some of her own journey towards joy and gives awesome tips on how to find happiness through collaborative problem solving, shining light on your strengths, and self-advocating for tools and strategies that help you thrive when things like "interrupting" feel tricky! A doodle pad so you don't lose those thoughts can go along way for her son and may work well for you to listen and respond better too! It's all about finding what works best for your beautiful, brilliant, busy brain and staying curious before furious along the way! You can find Jessie's book on Amazon!!
