The Most Expensive Lesson with Linda Heeler!
In today’s episode, I sit down with Linda Heeler. Linda is a Professional Certified Coach, owner of Live Inspired Life Coaching, and host of the Normal Lies podcast. Linda brings a unique set of skills and knowledge developed from her experience as a wife, mother, dental hygienist, animal lover, volunteer, and active member of her community. Linda lives south of Rochester, NY, is married, and has two amazing adult children, an equally impressive son-in-law, an adorable grandson, and two beloved fur babies. Linda works with women in a transition period, who are feeling stuck and unhappy even though it seems like they “have it all”. Linda shares how it is never too late to do what you want to do and is passionate about helping her clients rediscover themselves and who they are. Linda speaks from experience as she shares how at the beginning of her career, she spent a lot of money hiring sales coaches, and how it was simultaneously her worst mistake but the biggest lesson in business. The most expensive lesson she has learned is that coaches do not drive their own agenda. Real coaching is about your agenda, what you need, and helping you uncover that. Cookie-cutter formulas for success don’t work. You need to be authentic, dive into who you are, and know your values. Join us as we talk about how finding a coach that you trust can make all the difference and why second opinions and interviewing other coaches should be encouraged! Linda is adamant that she doesn’t sell coaching, she has conversations. She lets everyone make their own choices because it’s really about the client and what is best for them. Her story is truly one of authenticity, integrity, and connection. I also join Linda on her podcast! You can find links to Linda's podcast, Normal Lies, at Normal-Lies.com.
