This week’s horrific assassination should serve as a cathartic moment for conservatives. However, if we continue this disconnect between digital rhetoric and actual policy accomplishments, nothing will change. We must decide once and for all if we are a movement or an industry – if we will elevate monetizing TikTokers or intrepid statesmen? I list a series of 15 policy issues where the online Right claims to be emphatically on one side, but its organizations, candidates, and often Trump himself are actually on the other side. We are all decrying social media’s influence on people like the Charlie Kirk murder suspect, but then why are the same politicians promoting AI data centers? Why is the Trump administration illegally keeping TikTok online?
