Composing Star Trek Nami Melumad is the first female composer in the long history of Star Trek. You have heard her music on shows like Strange New Worlds and Prodigy. Outside of Trek, she has composed music for Thor: Love and Thunder and Pixar's Dream Productions. Nami talks about how working on Trek was not only a manifestation of her fanhood but also helped her fandom grow. Nami tells about her big sister and her role in Nami's life goals and interests. We also discussed The AWFC or Alliance for Women Film Composers, a group Nami has been a board member for at least 8 years.
