“Healthy Elvis” Almond Butter & Banana Toast Yields 1 Portion INGREDIENT AMOUNT UNIT Multi grain batard bread, 1 slice about 1” thick 1 each Almond butter 3 TBSP Bananas, sliced 1 each Toasted almonds, coarsely chopped 1 TBSP Toasted Coconut flakes, unsweetened 2 tsp Local honey ½ tsp Creme fraiche or plain yogurt ½ tsp Cocoa nibs, toasted ½ tsp Flake salt pinch METHOD 1. Toast the sliced bread 2. Spread the almond butter over the toast from end to end, making sure its evenly coated so every bite gets almond butter. 3. Peel then slice the banana in rounds and lay them all over the almond butter covered toast. 4. Using a fork, drizzle the honey over the bananas, this will also help the other items stick to the toast. 5. Sprinkle the top of the toast with cocoa nibs, toasted almonds, & coconut flakes. 6.
