When it comes to Photobiomodulation or less fancy - light theraphy Sarah Turner is one of the few experts globally and has so much applicable knowledge on the subject - it is a real pleasure picking here mind.  On this episode you will learn  much about PBM and Redlight theraphy, sun exposure and much more.  Born with an  interest in science (especially biology) and why things are the way they are or how they are, Sarah first studied biology and psychological science for a bachelor’s degree and later began her career in the pharmaceutical industry, first at Roche products and then going on to the scientific research department at GSK (GlaxoSmithKline), working mainly on drug delivery systems. It was at GSK, while studying the effects of electrostatics on drug deposition in the lungs that she started to get an insight into the massive role of the environment on the health of the individual, especially concerning the environment inside the body (hydration, nutrition, and mindset) and outside the body (environmental charge and light exposure). After observing this, Sarah decided to pursue a second bachelor’s degree in nutritional medicine and crossed over from orthodox science to alternative and complementary health. After completing a postgraduate diploma in Clinical Neuroscience and moving to open-minded California, she became involved in the biohacking movement.  Sarah is currently the science advisor at Light Tree Ventures in the Netherlands and a Research Associate at the QuietMind foundation in Philadelphia. Sarah hosts a podcast on Rebel Science topics, were I was also a guest on. You gotta dig the episode! Rebel Scientist – Welcome to the Rebellion https://www.rebelscientist.com
