835 | The Truth About the In-Between Phases
In this episode, I explore identity and its crucial role in personal growth and transformation. I share that transitioning to a new identity can be uncomfortable and chaotic. It’s normal to feel like you’re in a state of flux, especially when you’re not quite who you used to be, nor fully who you’re becoming. I share my experiences of navigating this in-between phase, particularly in my journey toward publishing books. This process started as an idea and has required significant effort and adaptation. Throughout the episode, I highlight the importance of language and mindset. I discuss how our subconscious mind prefers familiarity and safety, often resisting change even when necessary for growth. This resistance can manifest as self-doubt and imposter syndrome, creating a tug-of-war between our past and future selves.
