About Dr. Terry I grew up as a sports junkie, eventually being a 3-sport college athlete in hockey, basketball, and golf. Golf won out as my ultimate love demanding much attention to learning, which soon drew me into studying health principles and sports chiropractic. My father passed suddenly in his early 50's and I decided life did not go on forever. I took a hiatus from chiropractic and chased my dream to make the PGA Tour. That dream did not work out, but I was exposed to dozens of injuries in pro golfers that was due to the repetitive gripping nature of the sports. No one understood the hand muscles. All golfers did nothing to train them or trained only the squeezing muscles. No one had even heard of the hand-opening muscles. I knew I had to help As a result, I developed Handmaster Plus to train the 9 muscles that close the hand equal with the 9 muscles that open the hand. Golfers soon started seeing amazing performance and stability results at their entire upper extremity. Turns out the same repetitive gripping imbalances were alive and well in all grip pursuits, including sports, music, workplace, gaming, computers, hobby, and smartphones. To date, we've sold over 1 million Handmaster Plus units around the world. Ideas For Episode Titles / Main Focus Has Hand Exercise Been Wrong for 5 Decades?
