Episode XXVIII: Basketball Hall of Famer Jim Boeheim
The 28th edition of Whe're They At features Naismith Basketball Hall of Famer and current Syracuse University Men's Basketball head coach Jim Boeheim. Coach Boeheim has been associated with Syracuse since 1962 as a student-athlete, assistant coach and head coach. He has coached the Syracuse Orange to Final Fours in 4 different decades. He won the NCAA Championship in 2003 & made 2 other championship games in 1987 and 1996. His team has participated in 5 Final Fours, 19 Sweet 16s and 33 tournaments overall in his 44 years as head coach at Syracuse. He has led the Orange to the postseason, either the NCAA or NIT tournaments in EVERY season they were eligible. Coach Boeheim was inducted Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in 2005. He continues to serve the Central New York community, where he was born and raised through the Jim and Juli Boeheim Foundation, founded with his wife (https://boeheimfoundation.org/).
