Have you ever wondered who runs tournaments at arcades, sets up the streams, and ensures everything runs smoothly when arcades hold massive events? We spoke with Nick this week, the Arcade Tournament Director at Logan Arcade in Chicago. Logan Arcade is known for streaming pinball, holding third-strike tournaments, and massive Killer Queen tournaments. Nick joined the Logan Arcade team as a bartender after being a long-time regular and Killer Queen competitor. He quickly became the Arcade Tournament Director running the Killer Queen events, managing the Third-Strike tournaments for Jazzy Circuit, and Pinball leagues and events. The Arcade Tournament Director is responsible for many things, the tournament bracket, the players, the machines, the schedule, the software and hardware, and so much more. If you ever attend an arcade tournament or event, thank your Arcade Tournament Director. If you like what we are doing here at Indie Arcade Wave don't forget to like, share, and subscribe.
