Rebe is a memoirist, essayist and poet who writes at the intersections of feminism, world religion and spirituality. Rebe holds an MFA in creative nonfiction from The Ohio State University and lives in Delaware, Ohio and San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.  She is also the author of “My Mother in Havana: A Memoir of Magic and Miricle” released February 18, 2025. In her book she offers a window into the extraordinary world of Afro-Cuban gods and ghosts and the dances and rituals that call them forth.
