#130 Create Yourself (with Elizabeth Gilbert)
This week’s guest is author Elizabeth Gilbert - she is perhaps best known for her memoir EAT PRAY LOVE, which chronicled her personal journey of self-discovery and inspired thousands of readers. She was named as one of the 100 most influential people in the world by Time Magazine. We spoke about how creatives, writer and artists of all kind often suffer with the torment of their own creativity rather than being in symbiosis with it. Is is it necessary to be a victim of your art and to be that tormented artist, in order to create great work? We discuss the role our egos play in our work and how all of this can be transposed and reflected in our day to day relationships. This is a fantastic conversation and sure to inspire you. You may relate to it a lot. Her latest book, City of Girls, is available now in paperback. Enjoy!
