Randy West came to a career in television armed with the classic sensibilities and professionalism learned from his mentor, first generation broadcaster Johnny Olson. Randy was initially behind radio microphones while still in his teens, advancing to TV announcing in 1988 on Group W's Hour Magazine with Gary Collins. The long list of programs that followed paired Randy with Ryan Seacrest, Dick Clark, Wink Martindale, Chuck Woolery, Bob Eubanks, Howie Mandel, Ray Combs, Marc Summers, Jerry Springer, Ben Stein and many other iconic television personalities. Longtime TV announcer Randy West has written a new book entitled TV Inside-Out. TV INSIDE-OUT is a feast for readers who thrive on backstage stories. A thirty-year industry veteran, television announcer and actor, Randy West, has broken the silence surrounding dozens of surprising-sometimes shocking- mostly-untold stories of celebrity dysfunction.  Randy joined Mike Pomp on the Morning Information Center to discuss his career and the new book.
