Lamorne Morris is a rising star who’s got a Hulu show built around him called Woke and he’s got movies and more coming up. I’ve known Lamorne since the early days of his TV career at BET and I’m thrilled to see my old friend blowing up and up and up. I didn’t know the extent to which his childhood was tough and how thrilling it has been for him to use his success to take care of his mother.
