
An awarded queer director, Brianne Nord-Stewart is known for embracing tough subjects and leaving audiences laughing, She was named one of Canada’s top female directors by IMDb, a “Best & Brightest” emerging creator by Indiescreen Magazine, and was featured on Playback’s “One to Watch” list. Her work has screened globally on platforms such as Lifetime, Crave, Canal+, RTI, Comcast, Movie Central, and more. Her most recent film, I Was Octomom: The Natalie Suleman Story, premiered in the US and Canada on International Women’s Day, March 8th, on Lifetime. Prior to that, she directed the TV romantic-comedy, Two Chefs and a Wedding Cake. Brianne has worked on Mike Flanagan’s Midnight Mass and Midnight Club as the “shot list oracle,” drafting and distributing Flanagan’s precise shot list to the crew.
