Both tell the story of a powerful CIA officers deeply involved in the events that lead to JFK's assassination. OUR MAN IN MEXICO tells the story of Win Scott, the CIA station chief in Mexico in 1963. Scott, one of the CIA' s most accomplished officers, oversaw the surveillance of accused assassin Lee Harvey Oswald in Mexico City six weeks before JFK was killed. Scott later wrote a memoir saying that the CIA had duped the Warren Commission on a key point about Oswald. Scott wrote that he believed  JFK had been killed by a conspiracy.
