Chief Public Health Officer Theresa Tam has announced she will be stepping down on June 20th after a controversial tenure in the role. Liberal Public Safety Minister Gary Anandasangaree says that he will recuse himself from any conversation involving the Sri Lankan terrorist group the Tamil Tigers, citing a potential conflict of interest.
