He is also Honorary Professor of Epidemiology and Public Health at University College London and Visiting Professor at the University of York. In 2009, he co-founded The Equality Trust. He was also awarded a 2013 Silver Rose Award from Solidar for championing equality and the 2014 Charles Cully Memorial Medal by the Irish Cancer Society. Finally, he’s the co-author of the greatly influential book, along with his wife, Dr. Kate Pickett, The Spirit Level: Why More Equal Societies Almost Always Do Better. In this episode, we focus on Dr. Wilkinson’s book, The Spirit Level, and discuss some of the main topics about economic inequality.
