But as the years pass, our relationship to porn typically darkens. And most men, desiring a more conscious path through life, realize they must leave the images, the videos, behind. In fact the consensus in good men’s work today is that pornography is wholly negative—a work of the devil!—and that we must rid ourselves of such habits as quick as we can. But within this blanket judgment, is there a soul of porn, a pearl, a gift, that might get left behind? A trace of that original mischief? A key to our libido and vitality? Anti-venom for our sexual shame?
