Help Me Work Through a Brother’s Trauma with Keeper Catran-Whitney Author, speaker, and activist, Keeper Catran-Whitney, is dedicated to raising awareness about the often-overlooked trauma experienced by brothers of sexual abuse survivors. Advocating for the inclusion of brothers' voices in the child sexual abuse survivor space, Keeper’s work is deeply rooted in his personal experience of grappling with the trauma of learning that his four sisters were sexually abused by their stepfather, with their mother's knowledge. He also suffered sexual abuse as a young child. He emphasizes the silence and lack of support systems for brothers who experience this secondary trauma. He is the author of "HELPLESSNESS: The Mental Health Challenges Brothers Experience Once We Learn Our Sisters Have Been Sexually Abused By Our Parents” and is working on a three book series. Join me as Keeper Catran-Whitney and I dig into his work and hear how Keeper was able to get accept his trauma and live a life of FEARLESS HAPPYNESS!
