Send us a text As the title says, in this episode we"ll learn about the life of Dustin (Dusty) Camp. At the age of 31 Dusty clutched his stomach and collapsed.  He was gone within an hour and we didn"t know why for a couple of months.  His official cause of death was a spontaneous dissection of the right iliac artery.  The iliac arteries branch off of the base of the aorta. This part of the aorta is called the abdominal aorta because it"s in your belly. The iliac arteries are blood vessels that provide blood to the lower extremities, including the legs, reproductive organs and pelvic region. The pelvis is the lower part of your torso, just above where your legs connect at the hips. Once again, Dusty was 31. An iliac artery aneurysm typically affects older adult males often between 65 and 75 years of age. I remember being told by someone in the medical examiners office that for this to happen to Dusty was not one in a million, but more like one in five million. We"ll never know exactly why this happened to Dusty but we believe an accident he suffered a couple of years earlier may have compromised his artery.  In this episode, members of Dusty"s family recall "Dusty moments".  I"ve also included a few songs from artists Dusty enjoyed.
