This podcast is definitely a must listen as this is a rare episode and are hard to come by. A huge shoutout to Davin Cole for reaching out to several podcasts in hopes to share about his addiction with the hopes of helping people in our community.  Davin was a Deputy with the San Francisco Sheriff"s Department for 4 years and then lateraled to the San Francisco Police Department, where he served for 29 years. Davin wore many hats such as K9 Officer & Trainer, F.T.O., Plain Clothes, Gang & Robbery Division, and investigations.  After an accidental K9 bite to Davin"s leg, he was on pain medication for three years due to the amount of pain and infection. Davin became addicted to the medications and called them his "Happy Pills" because he felt normal while using them. After his pain went away, Davin continued to lie to his Doctor in order to be given more medication and that was no longer an option...
