Level up your life: https://purposeadvisory.com.au Learn meditation: https://meditatewithpurpose.com.au Over the last few years, James has been reducing his 10 years of work as a Clinical Psychologist in private practice and focusing more time & energy on research. This has included authoring “Choose Compassion”, coediting another book, co-editing 2 special issues, publishing 9 book chapters and 72 peer reviewed publications. --------------------------------------------------- “How good are you at receiving compassion from others? They probably have been more compassionate to you than you think.” --------------------------------------------------- We speak about the power of compassion vs aggression. We explore the impacts of our actions on ourselves and others. We discuss how to cultivate compassion through meditation and a range of other practises. But most importantly, we explore what it means to act as compassionate individuals, spouses, parents & colleagues. --------------------------------------------------- “Try asking yourself: “Where have I seen compassion today?”” --------------------------------------------------- It’s not often we have an academic on Success With Purpose, but this conversation is too insightful not to share.
