002 Rachel Vecht: Walking Your Own Path and Never Letting Family Down
Rachel started out as a school teacher for younger children for seven years and eventually she realised that most learning happens at home, not at school. And she saw that the parents of the children in her classes lacked the skills & knowledge to be the best they could be for their kids. And she also realised that she had the skills and experience to help them. So she set up a business to teach them how! Since then she has been giving keynote speeches to 10,000s of corporate & government employees about parenting & mental health, coaching parents 1 on 1, creating amazing education courses AND being a present and loving mother of four the whole way through. This conversation looks at how to be great parents & colleagues with empathy and compassion. Especially how to manage your own and their emotions in all interactions. But what this conversation is really about is the experience of life when you live authentically, pursue your passions and what happens when we never stop learning, never stop loving & never stop living our unique purpose. Enjoy!
