Today, I am thrilled to have Dr. Tim Newman, an accomplished educator and sport professional with nearly 30 years of experience in sport management and athletic training. Dr. Newman has taught sport marketing, leadership, and public relations around the world—from the U.S. to Botswana, Malaysia, and Thailand. As a pioneer in the field, he authored Social Media in Sport Marketing over a decade ago, one of the first books on the topic. His passion for forward-thinking education also led him to develop online courses for more than 20 years, culminating in his latest project, the Formula for Public Speaking course. Through his company, Dream Chasers Management Group, Dr. Newman helps clients reach their goals by applying strategic marketing, planning, and communication techniques. He’s worked with athletes at every level—from high school to the Olympics—and has directed amateur golf tournaments across the U.S. Currently, he hosts two podcasts: The Golfweek Amateur Tour – The Podcast and Speaking with Confidence. When he’s not empowering others, he’s spending time with his family or out on the golf course.
