Season 2, Episode 1: Discussing The Aftermath, Ladies Of Oberlin Book 3, with Tamera Lynn Kraft
Welcome to a new year, and a new book. Today, co-owner and executive editor Tamera Lynn Kraft is in the hot seat, talking about her newest release, THE AFTERMATH, the third and final (and long-awaited) book in her Ladies of Oberlin historical series. The first two books are: RED SKY OVER AMERICA, leading up to the Civil War, and dealing with issues of slavery and social reform at that time in our country"s history. LOST IN THE STORM, taking place during the war, where a woman journalist struggles to prove herself by obtaining an interview with a military hero who is trying to avoid the spotlight and hide his secret shame. Now THE AFTERMATH takes place several years after the war, and deals with issues of temperance, alcoholism, PTSD, the abuse of women and children, and confidence and self-image, for those physically damaged by the war. Join managing editor Michelle Levigne and marketing director Jerah Alvarado as they and Tamera chat about the stories behind the story.
