Sacha Mardou - Healing after the JWs DIVORCED: Jehovah"s Witnesses Sacha Mardou is a British cartoonist and long-form graphic novelist who makes a home in St Louis, Missouri with her husband and teenage daughter. She began making comics after getting her BA in English Literature from the University of Wales in 1998. Working in both fiction and autobiography, Mardou’s comics explore interior experiences such as mental illness, emotional dynamics within families, her religious upbringing in the Jehovah"s Witnesses and healing from trauma through therapy. Her new book is called "Past Tense: Facing Family Secrets and Finding Myself in Therapy" is available now wherever books are sold.
