Lynne was a National Endowment For the Arts Fellowship recipient and has also received grants from the Ohio Arts Council and the Kentucky Foundation for Women. Lynne has an impressive collection of publications ranging from fiction, non-fiction, and even one children"s book. Her latest book, Mothers of Fate, was released in April of 2025. In addition to her novels, Lynne has also published two books of poetry. Besides working as a writer, Lynne is also a licensed psychotherapist. Her work with a therapy dog is the focus of her book, Where the Trail Grows Faint: A Year in the Life of a Therapy Dog Team. She currently lives in the United States Midwest with her husband, a college professor and photographer. They have two children, three grandchildren, and an energetic beagle/Lab mix who reportedly excels at swimming, retrieving tennis balls, and terrorizing squirrels.
