The Red Sox (30-35) opened up their 3-game weekend series against the Yankees with a (9-6) loss Friday night at Yankee Stadium. The Yankees scored 7 runs (all with 2 outs) over the 1st 2 Innings. The Red Sox have lost 9 of their last 12 overall and 8 of their last 10 on the road.  ----- Brutal in the 1st: Walker Buehler gave up 5 runs, all with 2 outs, in the 1st Inning against the Yankees Friday night. He gave up a 3-run Home Run to Jazz Chisholm Jr. and a 2-run Home Run to Anthony Volpe.  Red Sox starting pitchers (Fitts, Giolito, & Buehler) have allowed 15 1st-Inning runs over the last 4 Games.
