He also serves as Director of the Support Office for Research and Innovation Activities at ULB University in Brussels, where he sits on the institution’s AI steering committee. A deep-tech expert, Claudio has held global leadership roles with a current focus on implementing AI to optimize business and decision-making processes. Throughout his career, he has been a serial entrepreneur, founding and leading multiple tech start-ups with a particular focus on innovation in nanotechnology and sensor systems. Currently, Claudio leads AI implementation strategies at the senior executive level for FT Global 500 companies. As an academic, Claudio has co-authored over 80 scientific and professional publications and is a co-inventor on patents covering semiconductors, optoelectronics, and photovoltaics.
