POSTCAST: Wild Season Ends after a 3-2 loss in Game 6

The Minnesota Wild saw their season come to an end after a 3-2 loss to the Vegas Golden Knights in Game 6. The Wild fell 4-2 in the series, and for the 3rd straight year lost a series in 6 after taking a 2-1 lead. The Wild fell behind 1-0 on a Power Play goal from Shea Theodore. Ryan Hartman scored his first goal of the series with 4 seconds left in the 1st to tie the game at 1. Jack Eichel scored in the 2nd to make it 2-1 Vegas. Mark Stone scored in the 3rd period to make it 3-1, before Ryan Hartman scored to cut it to 3-2 with 3:30 remaining. The Wild could not muster the tying goal despite a flurry of chances with the net empty. The Wild went 3/4 on the Penalty Kill and 0/2 on the Power Play. Filip Gustavsson stopped 20 of 23 shots in net for the Wild, and was mostly tremendous all series long. Marc-Andre Fleury waved to the crowd before departing the ice in his final NHL game.
