Podcast Episode 201: Tracy Barbosa

Welcome Tracy Barbosa, a local glass artist. She is the owner-operator at Duende Studio and a Community Development TDI Fellow Attleboro at MassDevelopment. Tracy is a multi-media artist and community organizer. She has a bachelor’s degree from Massachusetts College of Art and Design. (AKA MassArt) Tracy was involved with organizing the Love the Ave initiative in New Bedford’s North End. Her artwork is in private and public collections all over the world. Tracy Barbosa began working with glass in 1997 at MassArt in Boston. Shortly after she began working at John Lewis Glass assisting with glass projects such as the OK City Memorial in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and at One World Trade (One World Trade Center) in New York. Her most recent work, "Equinox," is an integrated glass elevator tower that will be featured at the New Bedford MBTA South Coast Rail Station, Barbosa is dedicated to designing unique and inspiring environments for public transit users.
