He officiated and preached at the state funeral for President George H.W. Bush and he also officiated and preached at the funeral for First Lady Barbara Bush. His latest book is titled, “Witness to Belief: Conversations on Faith and Meaning” which includes interviews with twelve renowned people of various Christian faiths including, Secretary Condoleezza Rice, Ambassador Nikki Haley, actor Denzel Washington and Dr. Jane Goodall.
