In this episode we speak with Sai Kranthi, a fellow at Community Labs and the lead builder of Protocol.Land. Protocol Land is a decentralized code collaboration and version control platform built on top of the Arweave blockchain. Sai explains how Protocol Land offers the benefits of permanence and blockchain's native features, making it an alternative to centralized platforms like GitHub.  Currently, Protocol Land is being utilized for hosting permanent static websites and rewarding open-source contributors through a system than enables bounties and rewards for contributions.  Sai is dedicated to making code more resilient through decentralization and of course, permanent storage of information on Arweave. He has a respect for centralized services like GitHub, while also acknowledging clear limitations - this is where Protocol Land shines. Sai go over the various methods of getting code on Arweave, one of which uses Github actions.  It's a great episode for those that care about where code actually lives and for those who care about the fundamentals.  Check out Protocol.Land. Follow @OnlyArweave for all things related to Arweave.
