Pathway to Peace Podcast 30-03-2025: Sacred Bonds: The Islamic Perspective on Marriage

In this week's episode the presenters discuss different aspects of marriage. Modern day western society has seen marriage becoming less common. There are more people who are choosing to live together in short to long term relationships and they see no reason to be married. Some feel marriage as simply a piece of paper; and that they can show their commitment to each other by having children or buying a property together. But how does Islam view the sanctity of marriage? And why is there so much emphasis placed upon it? These are just some of the questions that the presenters aim to tackle.
