Due to this, he spent much of his life living with feelings of anger, fear, guilt, and shame bottled up inside him. This trauma was made worse due to being “twice-exceptional”, leading to a life full of hardship and misunderstanding. What all of these experiences ultimately led to was a life completely full of denial and a near-absolute void of self-love. He has gotten through this by reconnecting with his authentic self from childhood - before all of the conditioning and programming. Wesley believes that if we hope to ever collectively heal this world, we must begin by first discarding the guilt, shame, and fear we feel when it comes to both expressing our authentic truths and acknowledging our lived experiences for what they were.
