What was the emotional process like for you as you uncovered and told your family’s story?  Your father, Ervin, displayed remarkable resilience, escaping the Nazis twice and later the communists. What do you believe was the driving force behind his will to survive and fight for freedom? The Holocaust has been widely documented, yet the story of the Hungarian Jewish community in Győr, Hungary, remains relatively unknown.
