Meet Shawn Tobin with Tobin Cattle Company

Shawn and Ellen started Tobin Longhorn Cattle Company in 2020 with the purchase of three heifers, one cow with calf at side, and a bull. With each passing year, they are continuing to grow. They have recently started taking genetic samples from the herd, and combining that with weights and measurements of each animal. They are hoping to produce animals that put the pounds on easily, that are feed efficient, with a tenderness to rival any breed of cattle, while not losing the characteristics of the Texas Longhorn that has made itself such a unique breed. www.tobinlonghorncattleco.com
