Mark Ellis is the Director of Olympic Sport Performance at Northwestern University. He works with Field Hockey, Wrestling and Men’s Tennis. Prior to making the move to Northwestern he was the  Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach at Princeton University where he oversaw the Tigers’ men’s lacrosse, men’s soccer, men’s swimming, men’s and women’s diving, and women’s tennis programs. Ellis was also an assistant athletic performance coach at Stony Brook University. He began his coaching career as volunteer strength coach at Hofstra University. Coach Ellis has a Master’s Degree from Hofstra in Sports Science.
